Complex contract packages must be completed and ready to advertise with a very short turnaround time as we have several timber sales to review, advertise, send packages to prospective bidders, and award through the end of the year. Work includes, but is not limited to, reviewing timber sale contracts and coordinating with sale prep foresters, resource specialist, and contacting officer, to provide complete timber sale contracts and associated documents (including specified road packages, timber contract maps, stewardship project maps, cruises and appraisals) to prospective bidders. Knowledge of log accountability audit procedures at ranger district offices and ability to be a team member to complete the audits that are required. Knowledge of the TIM system and ability to assist users in contract prep.
